how we work

[The Process involved in full design and project management is as follows]

- The project requirements are established by the Design Manager through a consultation with the client. The Design Manager and the client together come up with the vision or concept of the project and also discuss feasibility.

- A site survey is carried out and the design team come up with detailed plans showing furniture & fixtures, lighting design and sketches of special built furniture. The client is presented with colour boards, hand or computer rendered visuals and sample furniture selections. From this the client can wither approve or modify the detailed plan.

- The next step for the design team is to research materials and furniture. Product selection depends on a variety of factors such as original concept design, cost, delivery date and current required fire and safety regulations.

- Once the design scheme has been finalized and the tender awarded, the Project Manager will visit the site to ensure everything matches up to specification. A bill of quantities is prepared for order placement. The Project Manager then supervises the logistics of deliveries and fit-outs.

- Throughout the project our design team will visit the site regularly to check on progress. All aspects of the fit-out are checked such as wall, floor, ceiling finishes, electrical fixtures and furniture deliveries and positioning. This ensures a fully completed design and fit-out to satisfy the client’s requirements.
